Inspirational/Country Music Artist Amanda Hagel has been hard at work since the release of her debut album “Rush” in the fall of 2014 developing her brand, building her music catalogue and gaining industry recognition as an indie artist on the rise across Canada and beyond.

Since her musical debut in 2014 Amanda has:

  • Released 14 singles to country radio (all written by Amanda) 
  • Amanda's most successful radio single releases cracking the top 100 at Canadian Country Radio include Backseat Everything, What Brand of Country are You and Her Own Drum, Dirty up Good, These Roots, Say You Are (duet with Tommy John Ehman)
  • Released 3 singles into the Christian/Gospel market to date partnering with promotions company, Vision PR Solutions for ongoing marketing and promotion.
  • Released 24 Official Music Videos
  • Was the CBC Searchlight "Hunt for Canada's Best New Artist" top 23 national finalist in 2015
  • Was an Emerging Artist of the Year nominee at the 2017 Sask Country Music Awards
  • Won her first Sask Country Music Award for Country Gospel Album of the Year in 2017
  • Was a Female Artist of the Year nominee and award show performer at the 2018, 2020, 2021, 2023, and 2025 Saskatchewan Country Music Awards.
  • Finished as a category finalist in the 2018 USA International Songwriting Competition for her song "Listen With Your Heart"
  • Has promoted herself with three social media campaigns to date titled "Cover Song Summer Series Release" featuring remixed versions of some of her favorite cover songs which have gained a collective viewing total of well over 400 thousand views and climbing on her  Facebook page
  • Her social media campaign for her 2020 single release Angel Lullaby reached over 170 thousand views on facebook in its first four weeks of circulation
  • On the Canadian Indie Country Countdown in their 12th weeks of rotation Angel Lullaby would reach #1 in November of 2020 and Be the Light would reach #3 in August of 2021.
  • Released 4 full length albums to date - Rush, Listen with your Heart, Collection of Covers Vol.1 and her latest album release Be the Light on May 17th, 2021. 
  • Released her first full length documentary titled "The Making of Be the Light" in May of 2021. The documentary, filmed and produced by Nolita Studios would feature studio footage and intimate interviews over a year and a half time span during the Be the Light album creation.
  • Received her first Saskatchewan Country Music Award nomination in 2021 for Country Artist of the Year. 
  • Her album Be the Light placed #5 on the Best Saskatchewan Albums Award list for 2021.
  • Was a finalist in the 2022 Canadian Independent Music Video Awards for her music video Be the Light. 
  • Received an Honorable Mention Award for her song Be the Light in the 2022 International Songwriters Day Song Contest. A high honor as the contest featured songs from writers all around the world.
  • Received her first Western Canadian Music Award Nomination in 2022 for Spiritual Artist of the Year.
  • Her 2023 single release titled “These Roots” would achieve the following milestone moments: 1) A live broadcast premier of her music video for These Roots on the U.S. Nationally Syndicated TV Broadcast Network “Heartland”. 2) A feature premier slot on CMT.com (Country Music Television) the day of the video release.
  • The music video campaign with Artiso Media based in Nashville for These Roots would receive over 30 video placements on networks across the U.S. and beyond reaching millions of viewers. A reflection of not only the highly professional quality of the song and video but also the connection it had  with its audience.
  • Received an Honorable Mention Award for her song These Roots in the 2023 International Songwriters Day Song Contest. A high honor as the contest featured songs from writers all around the world.
  • Received an impressive 3rd place finish for her song “Call on Me” in the 2025 International Songwriters Day Contest. The first time one of Amanda’s songs has placed in the winners’ circle.

There's no doubt that despite Amanda's personal interest and established career in the Health and Wellness field as a Personal Fitness Trainer,  her true passion and soul calling has always been centered around music. After picking up the guitar at the age of 9, Amanda developed her musical craft of songwriting and performing over many years of experience and opportunity. Through entering countless singing and songwriting competitions, playing and singing as part of church music ministries for many years and playing regularly in two cover bands she co-founded over 15 years ago, there was never a doubt that Amanda`s musical path would lead her to the place she finds herself in today! An inspirational/country country music artist on a mission to create meaningful music and share her talents and passion of music with the world!
